For therapy: At Together Diverse, we have chosen to remain an 'out-of-network' provider for all insurance companies. This decision allows us to provide the highest quality of care, independent from insurance-based rules or decisions.
Why some individuals opt to pay out-of-pocket for therapy:

Potential risks of sensitive information being shared with third parties
-
Concerns about future implications for employment, especially in sensitive sectors like government positions
Insurance Limitations:

While we do not directly accept insurance, you can request a monthly Superbill, automatically generated on the 1st day of the month for the prior month's appointments. This will include all the appropriate insurance documentation. We use a specific billing code for relational issues. The amount reimbursed by your insurance varies, and it is usually a portion. Most insurance companies will reimburse for therapy involving two people if one person has been given a diagnosis. We discuss this in advance to ensure the appropriate partner is provided with a diagnosis.
For coaching: Insurance companies generally do not reimburse for coaching. It's advisable to check with your insurance provider to understand their specific policies. The Superbill from Together Diverse will include all the necessary documentation, although coaching services do not involve a formal diagnosis.
